Saved Over 6000 Tonnes of CO2 Emissions

6,080 tonnes of CO2 emissions have been saved because of community energy in Devon, including 3,701 tonnes saved in 2017

Installed Over 12 MW of Capacity

Devon community energy organisations have installed 12.3 MW of capacity through 62 community owned renewable electricity generation projects

What is Community Energy?

Community energy majors on local control and ownership of energy opportunities and aims to maximise local engagement and benefit from individual projects. Activity can include reducing demand, improving energy efficiency or increasing the amount of energy generated from low-carbon and renewable sources.
